GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Assisting the Manager in various tasks to keep the warehouse operation functional on a daily basis. Maintaining the warehouse by shipping and receiving in a timely and accurate manner by supervising multiple team members to ensure organized efficientcy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- The ability to handle stress and work well with others are essential functions of this position.
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
- Supervises and assists in the daily activities of loading trucks from load schedules and the unloading of all materials that received and stores received materials in its proper place in the warehouse or yard.
- Monitors materials to be shipped such as: quantities, quality and item accuracy.
- Oversees and assists in the checking of freight against purchase orders.
- Oversees and assists in the handling of transformers received and shipped, ensuring transformers are pulled, adjusted, and ready for shipment.
- Montiors and maintains adequate assembly parts for products in stock, i.e., Hardware for mounting lightning arrestors to transformers.
- Particitpates in annual inventory process; ensures warehouse is prepared and ready for annual physical inventory; Supervises the inspection of new inventory and returned items for damage; Maintains packing/shipping supplies at appropriate levels to insure timely shipments.
- Performs cycle counts and records results in EWM software.
- Makes recommendations and helps to enforce safety procedures througout warehouse operations, with particular attention directed towards vehicle/fork lift operation, stocking of inventory, proper use of equipment, and hazardous items.
- Directs and assists in the placing of goods received to designated storage shelves, bins, yards, and warehouse areas.
- Assembles orders to be shipped to customers and directs the investigation of discrepancies during inventory counts.
- Inspects and ensures proper maintenance and training for all fork lifts, trucks, and equipment.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to interviewing, hiring and training employees.
- Due to our obligation to provide continuous, reliable electric service to our customers, the ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance and the ability to work outside your regularly scheduled office hours when necessary is an essential function of the job.
- Maintain awareness of and compliance with applicable laws and regulations from various regulatory entities, internal policies, procedures, and directives. Ensure ongoing monitoring and timely incorporation of any changes to maintain adherence to compliance standards.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School or GED
REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Driver's License
Forklift Certification

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 51 pounds; regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision; distance vision; peripheral vision; and depth perception.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Ability to drive and possess a valid Arkansas driver's license. Be available to work extra hours when necessary and report to work whenever needed during non-working periods. Must have a working knowledge of catalog numbers and transformer final assembly numbers. Must be familiar with OSHA regulation as it relates to warehousing. Must be familiar with freight manifests and other shipping documents. In pursuant of the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Act 593, this position is a designated safety-sensitive position according to AECC/AECI standards and processes.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future.
