GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

Provide support to the Generation Engineering Team in the management of assets, metrics, maintenance activities, and  for AECC assets. This position will also provide technical support to Generation Engineering leadership.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide technical support to the Generation Engineering Team via SAP, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and other software tools.
  • Assist in data collection and data cleansing of assets.
  • Assist in collecting, organizing, and maintaining evidence for assets.
  • Assists with Generation records management to insure that all records are retained in correct locations.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of the data systems by creating forms and structures, populating data sources, and and setting up automations.
  • Assists in preparing work orders, purchase orders, and quotation evaluations.
  • Provide administrative support by helping to align AECC asset-naming conventions within the EAM.
  • Assist in creating requisitions and purchase orders for the Generation Engineering Team.
  • Attends seminars and workshops on job-related subjects as directed.
  • Assists and provide administrative support to the Generation Engineering Team in the performance of their duties with technical and other assistance as directed.
  • Performs any other related duties as required or assigned.
  • Due to our obligation to provide continuous, reliable electric service to our customers, the ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance and the ability to work outside your regularly scheduled office hours when necessary is an essential function of the job.
  • Maintain awareness of and compliance with applicable laws and regulations from various regulatory entities, internal policies, procedures, and directives. Ensure ongoing monitoring and timely incorporation of any changes to maintain adherence to compliance standards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Accounting or related field, plus 4 years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.  

REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Valid driver's license.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office applications required.  
  • Must follow explicit job-related instructions and be able to pay attention to detail.
  • Must be able to travel as required.
  • Must be proficient in language and technical writing skills.
  • Experience with SharePoint, Power BI, Power Automate and other automation tools.  
  • Ability to learn and utilize new data software.
