GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

Assists Fleet Logistics  or DC Manager by providing support in the following areas, records management, compliance, and other miscellaneous activities for the Warehouse.    Using effective communication skills to relay messages to and from fleet drivers and vendors. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Assists in scheduling and dispatching drivers, trucks, and trailers to appropriate locations.
  • Ensure loads are properly loaded for secure travel and are delivered on time and in good condition.
  • Generate all documentation for all outbound loads from AECI facilities.
  • Ensure daily orders are packed, shipped & set to invoice daily.
  • Ensure Fleet Driver’s paperwork align with scheduled deliveries.
  • Ensure compliance with all DOT rules & regulation: Electronic Logs & hours of service.
  • Maintain and coordinate returns from customers via Fleet pickups.
  • Ensures DC Operations have purchase orders created for Poles to meet their customer’s needs.
  • Point of contact for freight claims – filing and follow up on claims.
  • Compile receipts for AECI fleet and process credit card statements timely for payment.
  • Maintain and coordinate returns from customers via Fleet pickups (RMA’s & RGA’s).
  • Investigates inventory descrepancies with regards to shipments or returns.
  • Able to handle stress and work well with others are essential functions for this role.
  • Keeps leadership informed at all times of matters important to the cooperative, particularly where member cooperatives or other power suppliers are involved.
  • Due to our obligation to provide continuous, reliable electric service to our customers, the ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance and the ability to work outside your regularly scheduled office hours when necessary is an essential function of the job.
  • Maintain awareness of and compliance with applicable laws and regulations from various regulatory entities, internal policies, procedures, and directives. Ensure ongoing monitoring and timely incorporation of any changes to maintain adherence to compliance standards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High School diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.  

Proficient with Microsoft Excel.  

Fundamental knowledge of transportation and routing.
